Veer-Zaara- last part

When Veer had been sentenced life time punishment by court, the bus in which he was supposed to travel to go back to India had a terrible accident. All passengers died in that accident, and Veer's Uncle and Aunt thought that Veer also died with them. Therefore, they did not have any idea what was really happening with Veer. Now we are back to the present in Lahore jail where Veer was telling his story to the Pakistani lawyer. The new lawyer believed in Veer's story, and she tried to prove it in the court. Every morning she used to visit her father's grave where she prayed for winning the case because it was a matter of faith in love. Samia, the lawyer, wanted to bring Zaara as an eye witness, but Veer was arguing about it. For finding a witness, Samia went to Veer's village in India where she might have found Veer's any relative or his uncle and aunt. Before leaving for India, Veer gave Samia that locket that was given to him for safety. When she reached to the village, she learned that Veer's Uncle aunt died some months ago. They had established an girl's school in the village. Samia went there with a very frustrated mind. After seeing the school, when she was going to leave, she heard that someone was calling Zaara. Zaara shocked and turned around. She could not believe her eyes; Zaara was in front of her eyes. It was not hard to recognize Zaara because Veer always admired Zaara's beauty. She also met Zaara's friend in India. She explained everything to Samia. When Zaara knew the death of Veer by accident, she refused to marry, and went to India to direct the girl's school founded by Veer's parents. She had spent her 22 years as a virgin waiting for Veer. Veer's young Zaara had become very old. Her black hair like darkness turned to white. He got many wrinkles on her skin. The two true lovers had waited for love for 22 years. It was the time to make them together. This holy responsibility was on Samia. She told everything about Veer and showed her the locket. Zaara could not wait a second to see her sweet heart. Both of them went back to Lahore. In the court it was a memorable moment when after 22 years two lovers met each other. They were old, but their love was still very strong. Zaara's statements allowed Veer to go back to his country with full dignity. Finally the couples married, and lived happily in a small village in India. To sum up, I have just one sentence to say " True Love never dies."

Veer-Zaara part 2

As I was saying that Zaara left Veer. At that time Veer reminded that Zaara's "payel"the leg ornament was with him which he got while the accident happened. It was a very emotional moment when both of them were going to different ways though they should have gone to the same way as a couple. While Veer's dream of marrying Zaara was destroyed, he did not give up. He had faith on his true love. His love had made Zaara very unrest about him. Zaara had started to watch Veer in her dreams and every where in the house though Veer was not there. She decided to say everything to her friend. In the meantime, Zaara's fiance was ready to marry her. Zaara's father was very angry on her because of leaving house without informing her mother. He stopped to talk to her, so Zaara had no choice left. One day accidentally Zaara asked her mother how much she loves her husband. She also asked whether Zaara's father could sacrifice his life for her mother's life. This type of questions made her mother to suspect Zaara. When her mother wanted to know what's the reason for asking that question, she answered that there was a person in India who could give his life for Zaara, and she was in love with him. Zaara's friend could not tolerate Zarra's this sufferings and called Veer secretly in her house to take Zaara from her house. Veer came to Lahore in Pakistan which was illegal for an India squadron leader to fly the helicopter from India to Pakistan without seeking permission; therefore he was fired from his job. The loss of job was nothing to Veer for getting Zaara. Veer was staying in Zaara's friend's house. One day Zaara went to mosque to pray with her parents and with her fiance's family. Meanwhile, Veer came to the mosque and met Zaara in front of all people. Everyone was so shocked that they forgot their speech. That incident made Zaara's father very sick because he was anxious about his political carrier which could be ruined if
Zaara marry an Hindu and Indian guy. Zaara's mother also went to her friend's house for talking to Veer about her husband's illness. Veer was not so cruel to kill a person for love. His quotation to her was, "love is for making life beautiful, love is so vast that it can do anything, love is not for taking life, love is to create life in stone." Veer promised that he would leave alone and Zaara would surely marry that person. Veer's personality and compassionate nature surprised Zaara's mother.Zaara was requested by Veer to marry her fiance to save his father's life. Zaara was agree with him. The farewell of Veer from Zaara had created a very sensitive scene. While Veer was leaving Lahore by bus, Zaara's mother and friend went there and gave him a "tabeej" which was a kind of holy locket which brings good luck for foreigners. Veer did not know that something very unfortunate was waiting for him. Two policemen arested him to the police station as a criminal. It was a conspiracy of Zaara's fiance to give Veer life in prison punishment . Veer's ID card was taken secretly by the police. In stead of his real ID card, they put a criminal's ID there. Veer had no way to proof that he was not the criminal. To reveal his real identity, he needed Zaara's help. According to the rules in the society, Veer did not have any valid relation to Zaara to say in court. If he had brought her in the court, her dignity would have been ruined. Furthermore, Zaara's future husband threatened that if Veer tried to tell the truth, he would treat her very badly. Only for Zaara's happy life, Veer agreed to live in prison for whole life.

"Veer Zaara"-part 1

Everyone has their favorite movies. My favorite movie is an Indian Movie. It's name is "Veer-Zaara". I have graded this movie as my favorite movie because it expresses true love between a couple from very different background. Veer, who was a squadron leader of Indian rescue team, always risked his life to save refugees. He was an orphan and lived with his uncle and aunt. In contrast, Zaara was a Pakistani girl whose father was a active politician and a wealthy person in Lahore. The movie starts from Veer, dreaming Zaara. When he woke up, he found himself in the prison in Pakistan, too far from Zaara. He was sent to prison as a spy of India. He reminded her memory looking at her "Payel" (ornaments for leg) . At that time, a novice lawyer came to solve his case because she believed that the person who claimed himself as a leader of a rescue team cannot be a spy of a country. His job was to save lives of the people, not to steal information of other country. The Lawyer requested him to say details about all incidents related to the case. Then the flashback started. Zaara's family moved from India to Pakistan after the segregation. Zaara's family was a Muslim family but her neighbour Grandma was Hindu who came to Pakistan with them. When she Died, according to Hindu Religion, the ash of her body must be poured into Ganga. Zaara went to India alone without informing her mother. The bus in which she was travelling, had an accident. Veer's team went to rescue people. In that place Veer and Zaara 1st met each other. In the meantime, Zaara's bag fell to the ground in which she was bearing her grandma's ash. She asked Veer to bring that bag back, and Veer became very angry looking at her childish behavior. Veer learned from Zaara about the reason of that behavior, and helped her to finish the curriculum. After that Veer requested her to visit his aunt's house which was not very far from that place. She met Veer's uncle and aunt who were very friendly to her. Veer was in love with Zaara in his first sight. When Veer was returning Zaara to her house, he met her future fiance who was the son of a political leader. Veer was totally shocked looking at Zaara's fiance, but didn't forget to say Zaara that he was in love with her. Zaara had no word to say to him. She left Veer and went with her future fiance in order to reach home.

A Crime Witnessed by me

When we think of crime, we always think about murdering, smugling, drug trafficing, scamming, robbering and so on. From my point of view, cheating in examination is also a crime, and I'm an eye wiyness of this crime. It occured a long time ago when I studied in my high school. At that time we were attending the most important examination which took place after grade ten. It was Mathemetics exam, and a girl from another school was sitting beside me. There was no wonder that the question will be very complicated and hard. While we were at the middle of the exam, I stuck in one math problem and could not solve it. At the meantime, I saw the girl sitting beside me took out a very very little papar from her dress! The invigilators were talking to each other, and did not see the girl cheating. I was thinking what I should do to inform teachers or let the girl to copy. I took decision of informing the matter to the girl. I stood up, walked to the teacher and inform them all about the girl. The teacher came to our bench, but the girl was so clever that she put the paper beside my writing paper! I was totally shocked. The teacher looked at me, and I could see anger and surprise on his face. I told him that I did not cheat. He didn't say a single word, and took us to the office. My heart was bitting. I understood that my whole life would ruin if the teacher took a wrong decision. The teacher checked both of our papers. The girl had already finished her copying and stared another math when I complained about her cheating whereas I was stucked in the same math. It seemed to me that I would die. The teacher matched the math with her paper and mine, but the math in her paper was same as the copy. He gave me my paper back, and let me continue my exam. I thanked God for helping me and also the teacher. The girl was kicked out from the examination hall. Though I could not finish that math in my exam, I felt relieved because I didn't let a crime happen in front of my eyes. It gave me pleasure.

My new invention

One day in our writing class Regina told us to write about a new discovery which comes from our mind. Most of the students did not write the paragraph, so I missed the chance of having great fun about learning new inventions. Anyway, I want to describe my invention to all of you. It is about an eye glass with wipers! It seems quite impossible, right? To be creative sometimes impossible can be possible. As I was saying, to make an advanced eye glass 1st attach very tiny wiper with the glass. Next you need to add a motor to move the wiper. In order to supply energy to the motor, a pair of battery will be needed. Then, a wire will be attached to a switch to turn on or on the wiper. Now, a revolutionary and world shattering invention is on your palm. An advanced eye glass can provide you such conveniences that you have never been dreamed of. While you are walking in the snow, and your eye glass is not clear to see what's in front of you, turn on the wiper. It will clean the glass as if you may think it as a new glass! The wiper will prevent you from having an accident. When you are writing an exam, sweating and sweat is falling on your glass, the wiper can clean it. As a result, you can save time which you may have wasted to clean your glass. These are the facilities for which you might think of buying an advanced glass. To conclude, this type of glass can be made in real life because I think it's not very inconceivable to make.

Superstitions

Twin Banana
In Bangladeshi culture, there are some superstitions which may seem too ridiculous to others. One of these superstitions is about twin banana. These bananas naturally grow twin from Banana tree. The superstition about it is that no girl is allowed to eat twin bananas because if they eat twin banana, they will give birth of twins attached together like bananas! I have never tried this type of bananas in my life. Whenever my father brought twin bananas at home, mom give it to my father to eat before I eat that! Men can eat these banana because they don't have to bear child, so they have no fear of getting twins!
Evil Egg!!
We have superstition about egg too. Eating egg before exam means that you will get egg, I mean zero in the exam! My aunt believe in this suprestiton about egg, and never let my cousin to eat egg before exams! Though my aunt is superstitious about it, my mom does not care about egg. She let us eat egg before our exam because it is extra protein which is good for health. If you go Bangladesh, you will face more superstitions, such as, looking at full moon with your spouse indicates very very bad luck in future with your children, Leaving home looking backward, putting a broom in the door steps and so on. These superstitions are very funny, but they play significant role in the culture.

Hobby

Everyone has their own hobbies, and I have a hobby too. My hobby is to cook new kinds of foods on weekends. I make my own recipe every Friday night. Now I'm thinking of cooking apple rice. You might be surprised and think that it's really possible to cook apple with rice or not, but there is no problem to try something new. There are some easy steps to make apple rice. If you want to cook it, first you make everything ready. Make sure that you have "Basmoti rice, apple, egg, chicken, coriander leaves, onion, carrot, spices, green pepper and utensils. Second, you have to put a Fri pan on an electric stove in high temperature. Don't forget to wear gloves to prevent burn. When the pan becomes hot enough, pour some vegetable oil. You will put onion slices, green peppers and spices in the hot oil, and stir them. Use a fork to break the egg in small parts before you add rice with that. After that you have to mix chicken, apples and carrots slices with egg. Now stir the ingredients for five minutes. When chicken is fully cooked, add rice, and stir them again so that all vegetables are mixed properly. Unless you add some soy sauce with rice, you will not be able to get the full taste of the food. Finally put rice in a nice dish, and serve it with coriander leaves, tomatoes and cucumber. These are the methods of making the tasty apple rice.

We used to live with my grandparents when I was very little. When I was

about 5 years old, my parents sent me elementary school. I used to cry at school

everyday if my mom wouldn’t go there with me. She had waited for me until my

class finished. One day a question came to my mind about teachers. I would see

them everyday from the beginning to ending of the school. I thought that they do

not have a house or family. I had been thinking that teachers used to live in school

everyday after class! I could not resist myself except asking one of my teachers

about this question. She had laughed a lot before she told me the real idea. She had

taught me that she is a human and every human has a family like me. It was really a

very funny story of my childhood.

Bangladeshi Culture is different from Canadian culture. In Bangladesh getting a boyfriend is a great shame. Parents hardly allow their children to marry a person except their permission. It seems very conservative to me. If we discuss body piercing, Bangladeshi girls only pierce their ears and nose. In order to get married a girl must pierce her nose. This is an important part of marriage. I think to introduce my culture I should indicate our marriage system. We arrange 4 events to finish wedding. The 1st event is engagement which is called "Pan-Chini" in Bengali. On that day groom's parents come to bride's house to put wedding ring on bride's hand. They also fix a date for Marriage. On the previous day of the wedding we have one more occasion called Bridal shower or "gaye Halud". In this occasion , all of the relatives gather to Bride's and groom's house to bless them a happy life by puting tarmaric pest on their skin and feeding them sweets. Tarmaric is a kind of root that is good for skin. We mash it with water to make it thick. Bride looks better if she put tarmaric on her face. She also draws "Mehendi" design on her palm on that day. The following day is the Wedding day. Every Bengali girl waits for this occasion eagerly. They are dressed with long, beautiful red dress which we call sharee. They also wear too much ornaments on that day. If bride doesn't wear heavy juwelary, it is thought as lower status in the society! During that day, Bengali people invite all relations and arrange great source of refreshments.
